Mentorship Outreach at Mukuru Slums in partnership with AmericaShare

Positive Circles visited Mukuru slums for a two-day mentorship outreach program for students aged 10 to 19 on April 22nd and 24th.

Invited by AmericaShare, an organization that sponsors students by offering scholarships to ensure they stay in school, we engaged in open, vibrant sessions on talent and self-discovery, understanding consent, body confidence, values, decision-making, and drug abuse, among other important topics.

The sessions were led by Positive Circles members alongside other guests including Kenyan national footballer David Ochieng, and Ahadi Reusable Pads.

The activities, demonstrations and conversations were rich with insightful discussions, bold questions, laughter, and even a few dance moves!
